provided
This website provides selected services and information to the constituency
of Pima County. Neither Pima County, nor any agency, officer, or
employee of Pima County warrants the accuracy, reliability or timeliness
of any information published by this system. Any person or entity
that relies on any information obtained from this system does so
at his or her own risk.
The Pima County
website contains links to other non-county (external) web sites.
Links to other web sites do not constitute an endorsement by Pima
County. Such external web sites contain information and services
that have been created independently of the Pima County website,
and are only provided as a convenience for our site visitors who

This site provides information on tobacco control, including cessation
and prevention topics. This site also provides information on services
that are available to the citizens of the State of Arizona through
its Tobacco Tax and Health Care Act, disbursed by the Arizona Department
of Health Services' Tobacco Education and Prevention Program (TEPP).

The only entity collecting information through this site is TEPP
and Pima County Health Department's Tobacco-Free Ways(TFW).

Disclosure
Because we are committed to protecting your personal privacy, we
will not disclose or sell your personal information to any third
parties. You are also not required to submit any personal information
to our website to receive any services.

Security
We maintain security standards and procedures regarding information
to prevent loss or alteration of data. Any information you provide
to us via e-mail is stored separately from the website and is restricted
to employees who process and answer these inquiries as part of their
assigned duties. Please note, we do not employ encryption technologies,
unless otherwise stated.

be used by us to generate aggregate reports and in scientific research.

information provided to our service. This is especially crucial
when considering younger Internet users. We fully support and comply

Our website
services were designed primarily for adults and teenagers, and are
not geared toward an audience under the age of thirteen. Thus, specific
services on our websites may limit users to those who are over the
age of thirteen. In keeping with our overall objective of increased
tobacco control and awareness, however, there are no age requirements
to read general content on the websites. Therefore, any person,
regardless of age, can learn about the hazards of tobacco use and
the resources available to help those who use such products quit.
